well, got home late thursday night after a very long day flying from south america. yes, battery dead as a dodo, new battery in hallway waiting to be fitted. really too tired to do it on the night but thought what the hell.

spanner out, battery off, new 1 in place, all good. NOT!!!!!

alarm sounding when open the door. message saying EKA code need on dash. i thought oh crap, no pc for the forum and no credit on phone. got credit, got into taptalk and found Mozz. called him friday morning and he talked me through everything i had to do.

WHAT A BLOKE!!!!! top man!

it was a simple bonnet catch that had stuck open and not closing the circuit. a quick drop of 3in1 and it sprung back into life. shut the bonnet, openned the car, key in and turned it. VVVRRRROOOOMMMMMMM.

it started first turn and has run great since.

any probs with EKA or sync, Mozz is deffo your man, pleasent, friendly and above all, takes time to explain everything in plain simple english so you understand.

THANKS MOZZ! SAVED MY DAY!!!!!!

wammy your just jealous... as preston ? its in the middle of nowhere and the residents are all ex scousers or blackpolians ?????????????? thats why the first motorway built in the u.k. was in preston cos the residents couldn't get away from it fast enough ???????????? i know of no famous people apart from wammy who comes from there :crazy_driver:

Cheeky bugger, Blackpoolians are not allowed in Preston. That is why the M55 was built so they can drive round the holy city. And not contaminate it.
