Hmmmmm...... So they have a cost-base that allows them to repair damaged Rangie's that others won't touch because it is not cost-effective to do so.
Given the level of effort and skill required to do this, is it really so bad?
As long as the "written-off" category is not hidden and is declared as a correct category for insurance purposes I don't see a big problem myself.

i see this every week. down the road from me. with alsorts of vehicle,s. alot of the cars on the roads have had stuff done to them like this, that workshop near me do hundreds a year.

The repair is not really the problem, the joints in the chassis are,to say the least rough . there was no preparation to the joints,the top was unweldable and as far as I could see, there was no inspection to any of the work. so what are you buying? a well painted death trap !!!!
