The cambelt can be easily done yourself. There is no way of telling really until it breaks, unless you take off the timing covers and have a look at the belt - at which point it would be stupid to not replace it anyway!
 
Northern Ireland plate is irrelevant as they are part of the UK! Our Audi wears Armargh plates but it aint ever been there. If it was Southern Irish you would have problems but being a UK car you have none.
 
I looked at this one, quite tidy to be fair. Guy (dealer) had a full valet done!! Seemed to be quite oily on bottom of engine and also some really clean/clear oil on bottom if the centre diff (I guess its the diff?!!). Would that be a problem?
 
Many LR's leak - if theres no oil under it, theres none in it after all. Depends, im not sure how reknown the TDi's are for leaks but the older engines tend to do a lot of it. The x-fre box leak would bother me more though. If the oil smells like cabbagey kinda smell, its gear oil and should b in the x-fer box, else ATF is normally red, i think?
