how do you go about changing them then? just buy a 200tdi prop and chuck it on?

Need to change the flange on diff aswell.

It's not a straight swap, the 300 tdi has a 3 bolt flange on the diff and the 200tdi has a 4 bolts. As mentioned above Gwyn Lewis do a kit:- Click me!

This is what I used, no messing about with spacers, it's all built in. It also comes with a new oil seal. It's also a good idea to fit new UJs to the propshaft before you fit it.

I would budget a shade over £100 for the whole job.

it say's in the ebay add it fits all 24 spline front diff's so im guessing you could use a front diff flange for the rear? only ask as my friend has a spare diff i can FOC also do i need to worry about back lash etc?

I picked up a 200 prop on ebay with a new flange kit inc the spacer, new bolts etc for £29 and it was local to me



So it’s already for when my donut gives in, mind you in been putting up with a 2” lift and a bit of off roading for 18 months now and its still looks fine.


Seems some will cope and others don’t?
