Been up the peaks today with the father in law and not a bobbler in sight









Ended up going up there.... glad it's nice and dry cos I bet it's fun in the snow



But it doesn't look that steep in the photo



A grand day out apart from fixing the fuel leak on his pajero, who says tratters are unreliable:high5:

Nowt looks familiar, but your pics were taken on a nice day. Most of my laning in the peaks has had wild weather.

Nothing better than laning on a Monday with decent weather knowing everyone else is at work

Ended up around Bakewell cos by the time I'd sorted his Pajero we didn't have time to get up around Buxton

We only saw three motorbikes all day, no walkers

When we stopped for a brew a couple of farmers came over for a chat. I think if helps when there's only a couple of you and you're not driving a fully kitted out truck, it looks a bit less menacing

We often do the Peaks on a weekday. Far more pleasant than at weekends. Hardly a walker/cyclist/horsey out in the week.
