Hi,
With my recent starting issues I was told that my battery is on it's way out as the HDC inactive is onewhen I start the car. It goes offered I drove down the road but I was told to get a Land Rover Gel Battery.
Is this an upgrade because the dealer said, after running my reg, that I should have a normal battery.

Just get a standard battery, the biggest that will fit.

Refresh the brain - what year and model do you have??

I have never heard of the HDC warning being on then off after movement....

The P38 ABS lamp will extinguish after rotation is sensed and it completes the self check...but I have never seen the HDC on/off with the L322 on start and movement...!!

+1 mine's a diesel and I fitted a 120ah truck battery.

I have a 54 plate Mark 3 (I think that's the right mark) Vogue.

I have a Bosch 120A battery

Been fine! And was the largest that would fit lol

had the biggest varta silver powerframe no probs in 12 months so far

I have found gel batteries to be a nightmare, even brand names....
