Was at a bit of a loose end the other night so I fitted a battery charging socket to my P38 front bumper.
I nicked the idea from a post on rr.net so I cant claim the glory, but it now means I can plug in my trickle charger without lifting the bonnet and removing the battery cover. An Oxford Maximiser Oxford Maximiser 360T battery charger
The socket is wired to the battery directly with a fuse. Im lucky to have a drive and power in my garage so the lead just comes out under the door.

Been around on bikes for years, but damn good idea on a Range, specially if stood up a while in temperatures of late!
Any half decent motorcycle shop sells the charger, leads and clips as a set, around £50. Good/bigger stealers will sell the individual leads etc if you already have a trickle charger.
Look for Oxford Maximiser, Optimate, and Accumen...all good systems.

I've done the same. Also use the power point to run pumps and lights. Works great. I have 1 in the grill and 1 on back bumper.
