Hi all, just building a tray back disco and moving the battery behind the seats. What size cable is best for the job?

Diesel, use 50sq mm welding cable, 35sq mm for petrol.
Welding cable is double insulated and far more flexible than regular battery cable.
Pity you're so far away, we've probably got some offcuts in the workshop.

Peter's figures for the cable size are the "at least" sizes.
Whatever cable you do use, get the terminals properly crimped rather than trying to solder them. unless you have the kit yourself, you might have to talk nicely to your local indie garage or an electrical contractor, possibly crossing his palm with beer tokens.
