Take the towbar off, they act like a plough .. AT tyres are a great compromise, 'specially BFG. Get a slightly larger size, 31" are good, but do need bodywork trimming a little.
That's about all I have, though I do have HD springs too ..
Take a mate, take some ropes/strops/means of attachment with you, don't get both of you stuck at the same time!

It's a d1 already has rock sliders and tow bar will be investing in some jate rings as they look easiest and cheapest option just need to keep eye out for some cheap tyres
Defo take tyres. So much quieter on the road with them on too, less sparks I find.
