Yes, last week had my safari snorkel nicked of my pride and joy(defender 200tdi). 150quid down the swanny, bought another but working out how to make it as safe as the crown jewels!. Has this happened to any other poor sods:( .

Use big washers so it can't be ripped off and one way security nuts so it can't be undone one it's on. Must be on of your neighbours or someone you or they know that's had it away. Thats not a random theft.

Yes i know, all the 10mm bolts wer unscrewed which needs an extension on the socket and the phillips screws were unscrewed with no damage. I thought about pot-riveting the bracket on for a start?

Buy security nuts that need a special tool to fit and or remove that'll stop the fookers if they come back for a 2nd go. If it had any big dint or scuffs you would recognise get yourself down to the local pay & play sites. See if you can spot em as they come in.

wire it up to a truck battery when you retire for the evening. any f**ker touches it they will get a surprise!

Locktight on locking nuts, big washers and those funky star nut things would probably answer

oops yeah soory for that repeat~! did add "funky star nut things" though. i felt that needed a mention. you can't go wrong with those bad boys

Shear-nuts once they are right the top shears off and leaves sod all to undo it.

You would need a punch and a hammer to hammer them round and that will take time/noise.
