Not sure if that is what the part is called but it is really badly rusted.

This is the part of the chassis that runs from on chassis rail to the other and the Ball Joint assembly is mounted to it.

This cross member looks like it is part of the chassis being welded directly to the rails (I think).

I would like to replace the entire cross member.

What are my options?

Thanks.

I know the one you mean. There has been some discussion of this on here somewhere. Might be a bit difficult to do with the body in situ. A few people have cut a slightly less bad one off a scrap chassis, complete with bits of the chassis rails and then ground their old one off and welded the new one in. Not done this myself but I'm aware that it is possible. I don't think you can buy ready made ones straight off the YRM website, but you might be lucky.

According to Famous Four there are no replacement parts.
So I will get a welded to have a look.
I would really like to find one off a wreck and weld it in.
At the moment my Landy is in pieces so now would be the best time.

Thanks

I think he means that section.

Yeah, but the A frame bars from the ball joint bolt back to it. So I reckon that's what the OP means.

This time last year he could have had this one.
