Hi all, I have a 1.8 petrol Freelander 1999 that hunts at tick over and has the orange hill descent light and TC light on all the time, runs fine under load and not lacking power, just ticks over roughly and hunts, your thoughts please.

try the intro section before the older members start lol

also in your profile add your location as there could be a member close to you with a diagnostic machine

also find a little interesting how you have 2 lights on... might be something to do with the throttle

Try the light switch upgrade in thread above, I had TC and HDC light coming on intermittently and this worked.

Loads of other threads about rough tick over so :search:

if its a 1999 you should have a 2 pin switch if you do then that is not cauing your 2 light problem

stick ya head up the back of the dash in the Drivers footwell and count how many wires goes to your brake light switch mine 2000 and i only have 2
