I drove to northern Scotland and back this weekend, 800 mile round trip, aprrox 150 mile into the journey, a vibration started linked to acceleration, the more i pushed the pedal the worse it got, to the point that i could'nt see out of rear view mirror.
I accelerated through it upto around 70ish and it was ok for a while, then followed me up to that speed, i slowed and it was still there, worse at 60ish.
When i dip the clutch it disappears, and when i knock it into neutral it disappears, also not there from cold, but a few minutes into journey it returns,
strange thing is it went all together approx 40 miles from home,
I know i need to change the bearing in the viscous fan but would that cause these symptoms or is there something else going on,

new ujs on rear prop 2 weeks ago, front ones have no play in them, and why would it just stop 40 mile from home

you've won first prize, uj nearest tranny box was shagged, it had seized in position when stationary hence no play, but removed the prop and it fell apart, easy fix so happy with that, and ordered new bearing for fan pulley

Hey Doc, you the man bro, way to go dude, all hail the DOC . :D

Don't worry the useful answers are far outnumbered by useless comments and insults ;) no chance of that ever happening :D
