Update, son called at mine on his way home from work tonight and told me that just before he left work he cleaned up the fuel solenoid and wire terminals with some electrical cleaner even though the connectors looked clean and has worked ok since doing this, so anyway i gets my multimeter out and found the battery was flat in it so i couldn't test it so i will buy a new battery for it for weekend and test it then and in the mean time he will let me know how its been, hopefully it mite be ok

Yeah will do but in case i have confused things its my multimeter battery i was on about

Well up to now the two problems we had seem to have gone since son cleaned the wire and fuel solenoid terminals aswell as the ignition relay the other day and the fuel solenoid we ordered the other day has now arrived so mite aswell replace it anyway, not sure which relay is for the ignition as the panel doesn't say which relay is for what but son pulled each one out one be one and cleaned the terminals to all the relays and refitted them but will look at my haynes book and see if it tells us which one it is then we will order a new one just to be on the safe side
