Hi,

The rubber seals on the back doors on my 04 Freelander are rubbing against the the body work just above the wheel arch when the doors are closed and etching into the paint work. It appears that grit/mud/etc gets trapped between the rubber seal and the bodywork and causes damage. So much so that it is down to bare metal at one point. Is there a way to stop this happening?

Cheers

Chris

here 90boy,! at least the ponse wagon has seals. Why is it that everytime you step into a defender the carpets always smell of damp. Oh yes that will be the rising damp from the gaping hole between the door and the bodywork.
