hi all.i just collected my newborn daughter from the hospital but had to have her in the front as the rear belts wernt long enough to go round her baby seat.does anybody know if there is a cure fir this?ie-different belts that can be fitted.thanks,Andy

We had to change the seat to one with the detachable base. They fit... Why dint you test the chair when you bought it??

I fink yer kin get extension pieces fer fat bastids - would that do it?

mine goes in the back just, its a struggle, cant put it in the front cos ive got passenger air bag, just takes a few trys to get it right

i didnt try it when i bought it cos i didnt think that the belt could be too short.live and learn.there is no way the belt is long enough.i will have to get another seat with the seperate base as suggested.thanks all.Andy

If you got it from mothercare then they will swap it....if not I have a seat with 2 bases going cheap if you want them

Nothing to add re seats but
Many congratulations of the arrival of your daughter wishign her a life of happiness and health

I had the same problem on my 1990 discovery but when i bought my 1994 discovery the same seat fitted. I thought the belt would have been the same size but it was not, it was obviously longer.
