hi guys. just going to look at a diesel autobiography?

its got the badge on tailgate and 1 by gear selector but should it have a plaque somewere to confirm its a genuine 1?
thanks in advance...

yes, 'Special Vehicle' plate should be under the bonnet, if it's pre 97 it won't be one.

thanks for that.

turned out it wasnt but i had it anyway as it was just a bonus if it was real. knocked him down in price though and got it for 4k its a 1999 very clean and straight with 95k on the clock and full service history 18" wheels,just the heated seats that dont work,but i can live with that lol

you can fix the seats quite easy its the bottoms that go so just link out the plug for the bottom, usually the bigger of the two and hey presto warm back!!

check fuses etc first tho!!!

excellent! will try that. can you get the part that fixes the bottom or is it not worth it? would be nice in the winter months though.

you can dismantle the seat and repair the element with a piece or pieces of wire, its a light to medium difficulty task for most DIYers, it is a bit fiddley and time consuming but its cheaper than new seats. there is a walkthrough on rangerovers.net
