hi,
just wondering if the oil that goes through the cooler is under high pressure or is it more of just a flow?
i have made a temporary repair and could do with using it today as new cooler not arriving till tomorrow,
cheers,
neil

My temp repair has been on for nearly 2 years, you've just reminded me it needs fixing properly. Jubilee clips holding mine together as I had to cut out the pressed joint between the metal and rubber pipes.

Definitely under pressure, one of my pipe pressed joints gave up on me while towing a caravan through France, after being rescued and taken to a local garage it took the mechanic about 5 hours to fit a jubilee clip and fill the auto box with oil. Mind you, every few minutes someone would turn up and work would stop while an animated chat took place. On several occasions, the mechanic had to jump on his motor scooter to get another couple of bottles of torque oil! He did run the Landy into town to test her before running through a manual car wash to get most of the sprayed torque oil off!
