No more serious than an oil seal unless you have a hole in the sump, clean the area and then look for the location.

This one is dear to my heart as I had trouble on my last visit to England a couple of weeks ago.

What happened with mine was that an oil pipe securing nut came undone over a period and allowed ALL the oil to come out and left me stranded on the M1.

So, what I suggest you do is to get under you car and check the security of the two nuts that hold the oil pipes onto the gearbox. One of mine was loose and so the pipe would wobble about - not good !!!!

PS While you are under there, check the oil level and top-up as neccesary.
