Hi All,

I'm thinking about getting one of the them autodim rear view mirrors, but would like to know if the LR ones are any good? I have seen some aftermarket types on Ebay, but would like an original, if one second hand could be bought cheaply. Any idea of the prices these go for?

BTW, I bought one of the real early ones that mechanically move up and down, by way of battery power through a small electrical motor (it only cost £4), but it is both noisy and erratic!

A few years ago i fitted a compass/auto dim mirror from a disco II to a suzuki vitara, they are good, easy to wire up and i paid £80 brand new from lr

they are on some range rovers, depends on spec
