Hi all

can anyone help??
2004 metropolis td5 auto with 85000 miles,should the gear change be completely smooth when changing up and down,i have noticed the when slowing down to negotiate a roundabout, when pulling away again there is always a slight bump when the auto box changes down and then back up again,is this just ware and tare,any thoughts would be great

Define bump??
My TD5 has 150k on the clock on original auto box and transfer and it is still smooth, now and then I get a solenoid click when creeping in traffic, but window needs to be down and music off.

Mine did that when I first got it. Changed the gearbox fluid and its now smooth. Could be old/low fluid.
