Used to be that all positive battery leads were red, less chance of a mistake.
I've an old farm disco and remove the battery when not in use, very easy to get it wrong.

Good good like the idea also use your shoulder blades to steer the car and brake clutch accelerate with your hands. Yep I can see doing that than driving an evoque.

Std correct practice is neg lead off first and on last, in reality whatever is easiest to get to comes off first!
