why don't we get useful quality spam?
i want PPE for achainsaw course in June,
that would be worthwhile,
and BoB would probably be interested in that anall.
In fact lets have a spam request thread.

i'm 5' 10"
regular leg, 30"/31" waist.
No, i hired college PPE when i got the use and maintainence part of my ticket, and TBH for the price they charge for hire, i'm better off getting my own, also correct fitting and weight was a factor that affected being able to move.
When i have worked, which has only been a couple of times, i wore steel toecaps and gaiters and other hire eqpt from HSS which with the jonserat saw cost a bit too, and again movement was an issue.
So i want my tree felling part, and hope that being comfortable will help, and make cost sense.

Er right,ya a little dude.....yad bee lost in me trousers.Im 6"5 and 16.5 stone!
the issue of weight is this.The oregon climbing trousers are light but dear.I have to say most of the boys use sthill kit but i dont like it.the best for me is oregon because its light.
I particullary like the oregon trousers because the crutch is an elastic pad.I can do the splits no worries in them.You will pay alot for top kit mind.I get through 2 or 3 pairs o trousers a year.You will get hot but you get used to it.As for the weight of stuff the ya just gotta beef up boyo.It will come with time.I have gained 3.5 stone in the last few years and my waist has stayed the same.

i put on a stone and a half, quit smoking and am generally a lot fitter since the last NPTC course, which as i said i only got half the ticket, so yeh, i'm in better shape to get the small tree felling this time round, thought i'd take on both units again to get a refresher, and get into the swing of it, i'm really looking forward too it TBH, maybe next year i could go for the aerial rescue too, who knows.

ya got to be fookin ard to go commercial.It has to be one of the most gruelling jobs in the world.I can honestly say i prefer part time.Full times a killer.I can manage 6 months or so then i just have to break.The action of climbing will shred ya body.A rescue ticket is a must and also if you work as a second climber its fookin tough.The general public,tree climber trying to kill ya and a chipper trying to eat you all day is not easy.
I love the job and do utility cutting on powerlines.**** job but im out in the countryside and im fit,the bit i love best is workin in town over someones house/green house with all the passers by rubbernecking...
makes ya feel big.The worst is up a 70ft mac with the top split out and its blowin 60mph....

well i wanna use them,
the outside work and fitness is a big appeal, but without getting to fanciful, i wanted another trade/ skill to build up , that would help me with my part time gardening business, and keep me in with a mate who does a bit of part time tree work, but he is getting on a bit and only takes on a job that's a good payer, and asks me if i wanna help out.
After seeing a picture off a young guy who had a saw kick back into his face, i just wanted to do it properly and learn, rather than buying a homebase saw and steaming in to Laurel trees.

if you work se only evidence of training is to be shown.The best thing you can do is get on part time with a local tree firm and do ya gardening alongside.
Remember that the good paying jobs are the ones that are difficult

Chainsawin is way dangerous and despite bein a cunntyflaps I do care for those who are prepared to operate such said machines.It takes shap reactions and the precision of a cat to be lighthanded/footed with a saw and as a result those who use correctly and live are all most as good as meWhats this,BOB being friendly,,,,,helpful,,,,,concerning,,,,,Human,
