It's quite a while since I have been on the forum but was wondering if anyone has fitted the 300tdi sports system and if so does it save any fuel and is it too loud or just a nicer sound. Put a stainless sports system on my V8 and it was far too loud and it was like driving a big drum!!

mate of mine has a straight through system with no boxes at all on a 300tdi fender it sounds like a spitfire, but he seems to like it

Saw them on ebay and it states that it gives a more throaty sound but don't want it too loud and then have to buy another system.

MOT yes boring but:

Reason for Rejection

"A silencer in such condition, or of such a type, that the noise emitted from the vehicle is clearly unreasonably above the level expected from a similar vehicle with a standard silencer in average condition".

never had a problem on me fender no boxes straight thru passed mot

My v8 passed but it gave me ear ache at 50 to 60 mph so put a center box in.
