I have looked at the guide but it doesn't say if i will have to lift it to fit this tyre sixe. any info appreciated i see a few of you run them.

Disco Tire Fitting Guide
The link above was posted by Redhand some time back and has all the info you could want on Disco tyre fittings. According to that, you'll need to trim the rear arches and front bumper end-caps for the them to fit.
And he's dead right too.............. you'll also need to adjust the steering stops as well to stop the tyres hitting the front suspension arms
If offroading is planned you'll need to lift it too![]()
and carry some spare half shafts and a diff for when you shread them!
so - yu deliberately weaken summat that is prone to breaking? good idea that:rolleyes.
i heard this trick (but not done it)
you get a pipe cutter and put a tiny score around your half shaft at the wheel end... then if it's gonna shear it'll go there and it's easier to fish it out.
no magnets on a broom handle and all that!!!
yet to break one myself, as I wear me ballet shoes when drivin me landy!!
