There was a thread about this previously. Basically, the Range rover has a sloping rear tailgate, the disco is much more upright, so the disco roof is longer. Or is that not the case?

Interesting thought. If a standard classic roof is too short wot about an LSE? + wouldn't Rangie roof leave the rear headroom a tad short?

Would give yu more clarance in car parks and trees tho, if it fits.

that was the reason i had a 2 door rangie not a disco.Even with a small lift it still does underground carparks. The disco is just too big for most.

The rear over door section is different so i worked out it would best be a bpillar and c pillar chop down then fit rangie roof from existing a pilars...:D

If i remember right, was stretchie that asked this about a year or so ago..

someone at the time did a photoshop of a disco with a rangie roof...looked weird!
