Is it a wet kit or a dry kit you're looking at? (Does it come with extra fuel regulator or does it use the MAF and stock fuel pump)? The wet kits are slightly less dangerous (less chance of detonation) but cost more. And are a bit harder to fit.
It would be nice having 300 horses in your Range - plus the extra torque on top of an already torquey engine....

wet or dry, not looked at that yet, what i seen uses the standard amf and fuel pump, has a V shaped nozzle wit hboth petrol and No2 going into air pipe between afm and throttle body, i think, it advertises up to an extra 150hp for a V8. i see a kit for £300 and have been thinking about it! want to make sure i dont kill the internals though and its proving dificult to find anywhere the HP limits a stock 4.6 will take!!!

I have run nitrous on a standard 3.5 V8 which was fitted in a cortina, I was running 50hp jets which was plenty. My kit was adjustable from 50 to 150 and this was on a carburettor engine.
For efi you may need to remap the ecu, start out on the lowest setting and work your way up, don't go too mad though, if you hear any pinking or detonation, back off one stage.
Don't use a dry kit on a standard road engine, keep within sensible limits, if you want to go mad, fit forged pistons and have the block 'O' ringed.
Go for it, you'll love it!!!

If you are planning to use it on the road, I would give your insurance company a quick ring as you may have a heart attack when you hear how much extra premium they want, that is if they don't refuse to insure you at all!! If you don't tell them it will invalidate your insurance for certain.
I'm not being a killjoy but have modified cars and bikes and know how difficult it can be getting insurance on some of them.

first off you diamond geezer, i knew this site exsisted but couldn't find it!!
and the wet kit i think is what i see, using stock fuel pump and keeping afm, double nozzle into air pipe infront of throttle body, just bolt on and go, £350!
dont want to go mad, fancy an extra 100hp but as i said its the bottom end im after keeping in one piece!
not going to be fitting any moded internals so its gently gently, maybe 75hp will have to do!!

thought i post this just in case someone else is interested, the engine should easily take 325-350 being good knick, the problem will be melted pistons if running weak, usually sorted out by retarding the timing, how this is done with coil pack im not sure. run cooler spark plugs too would be good, i know from the supra that NGK recomend going up 1 heat range (cooler running) per 75-100hp added.
the smaller plug gap (for lpg) shouldnt be a problem as when running 200+hp from nos they recomend closing the gap anyway.
