No big 'how to' on me clutch, was too involved gettin' the gear box and transfer box out of the white one, stickin' the new arm etc in it, then gettin' the gearbox and transfer box outta the green bus, fittin' new clutch in it, swappin' them over, stickin' all the soddin' fiddly stuff back together, roughly fittin' me floor back in and gettin' a bit of concusion tae take any photies! :D

ah did wonder the day when i drove past and there wuz nae bus sittin.
We gettin a how to get concussion then? :)

We gettin a how to get concussion then? :)
If ye want;)
Here's how ah did it...
First get yersel' under the landy, find a really awkward bolt that needs tightenin', raise yer head off the ground, give the bolt all ye've got, let the spanner slip and give yerself aright good smack on the forehead jarrin' yer head back, lie on floor until ye kinda come round a bit, try and get up, have a smoke, compose yersel',finish what ye were doin', go to bed, get up feelin' like ****, go back tae bed and wake up later still feelin' like **** and the job's a guid yin;) :D

Think al no try that yin if ye dont mind, cannae smoke ye see :)
So ye got much left to do?
Just to fit me floors back in. Went to mcdairmids and got some shiny new stainles bolts etc tae hold them down with. Ah'll fit them after ah've taken the dog for her walk. Talkin' of which...

I had the front prop off me disco last night. The transfer box end was a bit tight to get anything onto but a donkeys year old 9/16 ring spanner with cranked ends did the job lovely. Hardest part of the whole job was getting the circlips out of the u/j without any proper circlip pliers. Fiddly little barstards:)

well, the new seal is in.
I aint got the prop back on yet, cause I need to get new nuts and bolts - the old ones are now oh!facially fooked.

have checked with me thread gauge and yes, the diff end had metric nuts and bolts whilst the T/F box end were imperial - it's all original too.
Seems like thay were having fun in Solihull in 1993.

Thanks for all the tips.

All mine are rounded off and some have been cross threaded over hte years, which is nice. I use a 14 spanner, over the top of the shaft where it fits in, then roll the landy foward abit to get the next one. If all fails grind em! Grind em all! And put some metric bolts back on ffs.

If yer pop the front axle onto some stands you can rotate the shaft by hand while you're under there.

i spent ages ****in about with mine, struggling to get a 14mm spanner on, whilst a 15 was too big. when someone told me its actually a 9/16 spanner i need, i did the job in 5 mins!!
