Evening, Got a Yreg freelander into work and starting on it tomorrow, The problem is its either leaking water or using it excessivly, We have a new head gasket to go on it but wanted to no if there is any common faults that cause the engine to leak water or use it excessivly ?

Expansion bottle is ok and holds water, there is no visable leaks so its either a small leak that gets worse as warms up or something else.

Cle, am I right in assuming you have a customers Hippo in for repair??
