I have a 300Tdi defender pick up.

It has no anti roll bar. Which I think is normal ?

I have just put some terrafirma TF122LT Long travel shocks on with cones and soft springs etc. It has made a big difference to the articulation but made it feel quite vague on the road.

Does anyone think it would be sensible to rig up a tempory ant roll bar that I can take off for off roading then re install when I get home (post jet wash) and I am going to be on the road again for a while.

You could rig up a temporary thing, but it would need to be fairly rigid. Then you would have to spend some time under the back taking it off prior to off road.

I have seen a few items which have a locking mechanism for on or off road. Try X Engineering can't think who makes the other one, but it was in this months LR International

Return the soft springs, replace with medium ones - then no need for anti-rollbar kit and also saves you £££ and the pain of removing bar each time you pay and play!
