I have an annoying rattle when I speed up from low revs in any gear.
It sounds like its coming from underneath the car.

I have been under the car and shook everything to no avail.

Any ideas anyone?

Baffles within the exhaust could be loose. Heatsheilds are a likely culprit, or exhaust knocking against chassis/body/axle/whatever.

Exhaust has a bracket which is bolted to gearbox (on my 2000 XEDi).... mine cracked and made a noise as engine revs picked up. Difficult to see and get to as plastic shield under the engine is in the way. Remove this or just loosen at back. Not easy to spot the crack.... only after several attempts on the hoist at a exhaust fitment centre and using a totch were we able to see it. I made a replacement bracket myself and fitted it... end of problem.
