Hello all. I have just worked out when it's called a 'discovery' because your always discovering a new leak, fault, hole, bit of rust etc

Well today I noticed an oil leak that appears to be coming right out the front of the sump where the pulley/crank wheel comes out any ideas how to stop it?

It only seems to leak when the engine is running.

Cheers. The entire underside is covered in oil but I think that's because as the oil hits the wheel it's flinging it everywhere.

Any ideas how to fix it then or replace the seal?

I believe you need to get timing case off. When I did a seal (on pinion) I couldnt get it out. So I screwed two self tappers in then used mole grips, if wont pry out
