Got a rattle at the front end of the Rangie when hitting potholes etc. It sounds like a loose bolt or a loose shackle type noise but cant find anything. Will check again tomorrow but at a loss at the mo.
Any advice please :)

Sounds like it then.
I'll see if I can whip them off next week and have a look, found a loose bolt in the bumper and thought that was it, too easy that though:)

Going with shocks
cant see anything loose but do they rattle if knackered?
It would probably be more like the bushes. If they're worn, then the shox and cups will be rattlin' of the seat.
Couldn't help me last post as that's what ah'm on just now;) :D

Its more likely to be the rollbar drop links, when these are worn even slightly(no perceptable movement) they make a knocking sound that is loud and expensive, but are infact cheap to replace, about £12 per pair on the internet.

i had this problem with 3 classics recently, all had worn front brake callipers, so the brake pads made the awful rattle each time a bump was hit. take the pads out , give tem a clean up, and a good dollop of copper grease and see if it stops..
