Rant was probably the wrong word, explanation would of been correct but doesn't sound as good 
and I agree to disagree, I agree driving in the garden or a field is not road driving it never has and never will be however it gives a gist of the basics of driving (gears, steering, throttle, brakes and clutch most importantly) like I said I'm my last post I KNOW it's not road driving and I KNOW it's not relative to road driving but I never claimed it to be and never claimed to be a fully fledged driver with a license or insurance. The imagination is key here. At my age (17 days away from taking a lesson) the imagination runs wild on driving especially after waiting since the age of 7 to be able to start the process of road driving. Everyone knows what country roads are like and everyone could to some extent imagine what it would be like to drive on one which is what I done when suggesting I would most likely keep the mini if I where in the country due to the much better roads leading to a much better experience but where I am I can ONLY imagine that driving a land rover would be more preferable. Once again I haven't claimed in any of my posts to be a fully fledged licences driver only a 17 year old with a passion for land rovers/cars in general and driving. I have not implied road driving intentionally and can't see that I have however that can be down to personal preference.
