no air in main tank and offside rear bag going down when connected back to valve block, bringing all down, and not building up air in tank!!

compresser good,
4 brand new airbags fitted, and pipework all ok,
manual inflation kit fitted (bags all hold air when pumped up, but Tee it back into valve block and offside rear goes down,

took valveblock and compressor off today ran compressor attatched to valveblock on testbench , air coming out main feed to tank,
when i connected this to a pressure guage it went to 3psi and blasted it out the exhaust vent it wont build up air into the tank, if you cover the exhaust up the compressor starts to change pitch as it does when its built up, but still no air comes out to the air dryer or bags,

now...

DOES THIS MEAN MY DIAPHRAGM IS BROKE??
ive spent so much money on this, new compressor, ecu, 4 bags, pipes, manual inflate kit, eas reset tool new relays etc,

any gurus out here?

If air is coming out the exhaust when the compressor is running then yes it sounds like the diaphragm has gone. If it's clogged with with stuff, change the dryer while you are at it.

You cannot run compressor with valve block on bench it has to be in car and coupled to all the pipes and wiring. Diaphragm valve maybe duff but you won't know until valve block is in car and all pipes are coupled. Diaphragm closes exhaust port by having air pressure applied below it by activation of diaphragm solenoid valve, if this is not connected to car wiring it can't close exhaust port. If you have valve block off you may as well have alook at diaphragm it will be obvious if it is duff.

Ah, I assumed when he said test bench that he had a test rig set up:eek:

i just ran the compressor with my leasure battery, blocked the output to the tank with finger to simulate load on tank, and it came straight out exhaust, now the offside rear airbag is the closest solenoid to this, could it be back feeding through the diaphram amd leaking out slowly bringing it down then auto adjusting to bring the others down?

Going in too deep in my opinion:eek:

Yeah if he just listened and did as advised all would be well. He says tank holds pressure so that side is ok. Only other thing it can be if he can't make any pressure is compressor or diaphragm can't be anything else.
