Ok after a lot of research, i've found out my failing alternator is a Margetti Margelli A127 I think. I dont know if its 65a or 100a, but thats irrelevant. What I want to know is if any one has successfully found a refurbishing kit for one? I'd rather repair than replace, so if a kit exists that would be great. Thanks!

Just check its the correct 1 before you buy it

Ok cool thanks, but I was wanting to refurb the whole thing with new bearing etc. Seen kits for other alternators, just not this one. If all else fails I could just replace the voltage regulator. Thanks.

Ah now that one doesn't look anything like the parts that are on mine, thats why I've steered away from it. But thanks for looking. I don't think there's a kit for mine on ebay.

Has it got a sticker on the body of the alternator with a part number??

No I got to be honest, I'm identifying it simply from another forums picture. I might just have to bite the bullet and take it off to properly id it, and look at the make up of it.
