Has anyone removed, resealed and replaced these? I know they are bonded, but is what appears to be a rubber seal around the glass just the bonding material that has been "spread" around the opening? I have some rust forming at one of mine and want it gone. Glass out would make it easier.

Found this on Interweb. Photos look like what I am expecting. It would appear that the adhesive is all thats there.

I have the same issue, looks like some sort of rubber under the glass but I think it is just sealant. Got to have mine removed to fix the rust. Getting it done before the winter. Will be interested to see how you get on with yours.

Well its goin to have to be done. Might buy a removal knife and just get on with it. I've got rust spots above the windscreen as well. I'm debating wether to get those done at the same time and just paint the entire roof. Bloody usual.....a wee job is going to turn into an epic.

I have a quote for £580 to remove the glass, fix the rust and repaint the roof.

I won't be paying that, thats for sure. I would paint it myself if it came to it. I'm defo taking the glass out myself. If I remember, I will put pics up.
