Hi my p38 had no stereo so i found one on eblag and bought it and fitted it which works fine then found under passenger seat a cd changer but wires were mullered so i bought a lead which came with another changer. i connected it up and if i push cd nothing happens if i put cartridge in the changer runs through tests but it seems head unit doesnt accept its there so is there a sub menu to turn it on or when you first connect stereo it checks to see if cd there and if not doesnt accept additions or should i bin it and get new system

Hi what make is under the seat , as normal plaice is in the boot , on mine i have a unit in the boot but no head unit .trying to source one now as not happy with after market

Sony under seat but also have alpine one its a 99yr with thor engine

If i go down the route of new stereo do you want the head unit
