Hi all

Just removed my seat box to so that i can put it on the new chassis. Whilst removing the seat box section I have got a small amount of Alloy corrosion on the box.

Does any one know of a good glue so I can cut the rot out and replace the with a new section of alloy.

the sort of glue you need is applied with a rivet gun

..... second again, that'll teach me to use so many words

Epoxy will glue Ally - and so will a good welder.

Araldite might hold it if it isn't taking any weight. Otherwise just pop rivet a patch over the area.
