Just wondering if anybody has ever used or is using the 'all weather bulbs' that are around, if so what are they like ?

Brighter.

All terrain or off roading bulbs have a more rugged filament.

I Fitted early TD5 headlights and ultra xenon bulbs to my 300 tdi made a massive improvment!!
Got the bulbs from padocks £8.99 + vat+p&p
PM1058 Ring Ultra Xenon Halogen Bulbs - pair

I fitted halfrauds extreme brilliance bulbs. They say there is a 90% increase in brightness. I wouldn't say it is that much but has made a differance. Also bogof at the moment.

I put some on my lightweight. They are great, I could even see in the dark after I put them in !!!!! Just about to get some for for my disco but with 130 watt KC's on it I don't know if they will make that much differance !!!!!

what kind of colour do the emit ? its not that chavvy blue that the corsa kids use to make out the have HID'S is it ?
