Today for no reason (that I can think of) all guages on my landy fall to the bottom : fuel, temperature, even the guage in the middle (oil pressure). Even the red light in the center which usually keeps my company. Only think working is speedometer and odometer.
No electical work or change in car was done yesterday or today.
Is there a fuse or something that is in share with all these things that stop them together? What do you guys think?

Speedo and odometer are mechanical, others are electrical so sounds like an electrical fault - isn't the red light the alternator/charge light?

Sounds like your battery may be flat - does it still start? Do the lights etc work?

Also is it petrol or diesel?

Diesels run without electric so the fault could be anywhere in the circuit, a petrol would narrow it down a bit

twiddle the fuses under the column, mine used to regularly do it until I cleaned the fuse contacts

cheers steve

thanks for replies guys.
It starts right away so battery is OK. red light and all other three lights are off. It is a petrol truck.
I will see what can be done with fuses.
Where is (and what) is voltage regulator and how can I check it?
I had 2 days of no repairs and no problems I was getting spoiled till this happened :)

Landy's do that... just when it's going great they break, then if you threaten to scrap it it'll start working again :D

This is a voltage regulator - should be screwed to the back of your speedo. No idea how to check it though so a grown up will be along shortly :D

that sounds like the voltage regulator, its on the back of the dash looks like a rectangular tin can..

Take the back off and have a look - the colour of the wires will give you a hint. My two s3 (1979 and 1981) both have the fuses wired up in a different order!
