does any body no of some one who has purchased the all from the site below
Range Rover MKIII - All Comms L322 Range Rover scanner

and works ok in uk on mk3 range rover 2003 as there is a massive difference in price and they say it does the same as the on belowe

That is an illegal clone of the RSW Allcomms, the software is stolen and you will get no updates with it.
You and the supplier are at risk of prosecution although in practice I doubt Storey Wilson, the guy who sweated blood to make it, has the resources to pursue litigation.

me and the supplier are at risk i was just asking if it works thats all so iam not at risk in any way do not even no supplier for freedom of speach.

If you want to buy the All Comms software buy it off http://www.rswsolutions.com/index.ph...=415&Itemid=81
Then you get all the support and you are paying for further developments and upgrades.

Some of the diagnosic tools are powerful and if you corrupt your CCF file I suspect Storey would help you fix it, I doubt you would get that service from the e-bay seller.

I think that translates to 'Thanks for the heads up - I'll avoid the cheap chinese copy like the plague'!!

While what Datatek says is true, a more likely risk you'll face is no help or support from this forum if/when it doesn't work, or you need further diagnostic help. That's worth more money that this will save you, I can promise that!!!

The legend that is Storey Wilson gave up his time and money to help us poor Range Rover owners out by producing a low cost Diagnostic solution.....that is some thing I respect 100% - considering the next offering from Gap Diagnostics or Bearmach is over £300 I certainly do not begrudge passing over my hard earned to a helpful, clever and unselfish person - even if he is an American.

I paid £186 delivered with import duty for the All Comms and it has paid for itself already in the few months I have owned it.

For this I am eternally grateful to Storey Wilson for his dedication, as I remeber when I had my first P38, the only solution the Range Rover owners had for DIY diagnostics was the Rovacom and that was well out of my price range, so for Storey to Help us all out I do not resent him trying to make a few sheckles out of it - heck he has to box and post them up himself - he has a young family - he has a full time job in the American Health Care system - he works tirelessly to bring us updates and answer our emails.

Give Storey his credit and line his pocket, not some chump who cloned his stuff and is poaching his customers....

But these companies are in China and cannot be stopped. There are no valid legal pathways for me to enforce intellectual property rights in China. I have spoken with many lawyers on the matter.

The good news is that the hardware that these illegal companies sell, usually does not work.

Why not be glad you asked on here and as such have learned about a hard working man, giving to others. So that now you just might not buy fake goods and take the money out of an honest man's pocket?!

No offence taken, I understand times are such that we all need to count the pennies and we all look for bargains....

What we object to is the blatant ripping off of someone else's hardworking and making money from something that isn't theirs to begin with....

It wasn't aimed at you personally, more of a rant at the bastids who rip off Storey after all his hardworking.

Stick around though we ain't a bad bunch, and as can be seen, we look out for our own!!!
