Hello

I wonder if anybody could help me, was having a play with the alarm today as I was at a friend's industrial unit and with no neighbours to upset I thought I would set it off.

Indicators flashed but no noise, well a very quiet beep.

Any thoughts gratefully received as to why it's not screaming its head off.

Could be a sounder problem.

Just spoken to Land Rover Coventry and Land Rover Mayfair and they are both telling me that this bleeping is the correct alarm sound I can’t believe a top of the range car like this would have been fitted with such a useless alarm.

How loud is your alarm.

find the bleeper - use the signal to trigger a relay and fit a klaxon on the other side of the relay.

make sure the sounder is plugged in (it is behind the battery)i unplugged mine because it was going off every night and it is not quiet(ask the neighbours)maybe the previous owner had the same idea.hope this helps.
