Ok, I woke this morning at stupid o'clock as the alarm was going off. Went outside nothing obvious. Went to re lock and just got one beep.

Tried again once I got back up and worked fine.

Just had a call from home going off again. One beep again. The only comon issue is temperature drop outside.

Anyone have any idea where to start on this one?

The spec on the alarm system have would be helpful, but an iffy ultrasonic movement sensor can give a similar issue, due to air movement within the vehicle when temperatures drop.

Were all the doors closed properly? IIRC one flash means something like that.
Also, consider someone doing something to set your alarm of so you get sick and then don't set it cos you think it's a fault. When it doesn't go off they nick your motor.
As discool says, could be dodgy ultrasonic sensor or something triggering it, large spider? (not sure) mouse?

My alarm went crazy for a day. Picked up a trailer load of manure, drove up around the side of the house and parked it in the back garden. That afternoon when I took my other car to work the alarm went off 5 times, luckily there's nothing behind the house just trees which would absorb most of the alarm noise so no real concern. There's not really any way someone could get to the vehicle to trigger the alarm, it just did it numerous times, apart from that day it's only been triggered one other unexplained time in almost 2 years. Fairly sure that other time was spider related as it was the time of year when you constantly walk through cobwebs.

As mentioned above don't let the alarm going off put you off of setting it when you leave the vehicle, this could be just the scenario someone is waiting for. Leaving it as easy pickings for some scrote.

May be worth doing a bit of investigating, my '96 'fender flashes 3 times but doesn't beep at all when it's armed and gives a longer single flash when it's disarmed. Was it blustery outside? Accidentally triggered mine once when I was showing someone my rattly side window, few minor taps did nothing, then a larger thud and I was running for the keys which were in the house.

Thanks guys,

Yes im keeping it set. Didnt go off the other night but did once last night. Some time at the weekend needed to investigate i think/

All resolved was the plate that presses on the rear door switch. I must have caught it on something and bent it.
