I recently got my car back from the garage, finally! but it's developed a new problem!:doh:

Apparently it used to have an alrm on it which was removed but somewere on it there's still one lurking that go's off whenever it wants and i cant turn it off and it appears to have an immobiliser, i have to turn the key at least 10 times befor it will fire up. never did it befor it went in and the garage said it just kicked off when they tried to drive it in oneday. I never got a key fob or anything with it.

Does anyone have any ideas it's driving me mad!!!!!

If you have an alarm you must have the means of setting and unsetting it so find that first and then find where the alarm control unit is. Sounds that you will be needing an auto electrician to look at it for you.

I was thinking i would but i'ts completely destroyed my wallet all ready!!!

Can be expensive and turning the key 10 times before it will fire up also sounds like a iffy ignition switch.

What model year is your disco ?.

It's a 93 originally a 3.5 but it's got the 3.9 lump in it now. just had a look at the wiring and it's a shambles looks like half the car has been re-wired very badly!!
