got this come up on message centre soon as i put key in ignition, and locks off the fob but if i deadlock it the alarm sounds 2 beeps.

any suggestions???

From memory (been a while since I had a P38 - Soon to return another to the fold..!!) this would indicate a 'Mislock'.

It thinks a door/boot/bonnet is open or there has been movement in the vehicle during the 'Superlocking' phase.

Does the dashboard message display show any mislock information or if any doors are open??

I also seem the remember that an alarm beeping indicates low battery in the remote fob...but this could have been from a Defender....as I am sure the P38 tells you this in the message display.

doesnt say anything about a mislock or low battery just alarm fault, confused. spose i should lock it and check all the doors

Very good chance that the Ultrasonic sensor fitted at the top of the passenger "B" post is faulty. This will cause the symptoms you have.

Hi there did you manage to get your alarm fault sorted as ours has just started bleeping at us and shouting alarm fault.
