hi

i have just bin working around my p38 DSE an fixin faults her and there .

on my way through the car i found thet the aircon belt was missing .

any idea way ??

I have just got rit of the book symbol today by fixing on of the blend motors ..

I can spill the compressor with my hand .

Maybe the belt snapped and fell off. Are the pulleys shiny where it would have been?

the car have bin parked sins 08 and i think it have bin missing before then .

so it is a bit rusty

Then its been taken off by a previous owner who thought it was expensive to run air conditioning.

I can spin the wheel on the compressor .

All of it or just the pulley? The pulley spins free until the clutch engages.

Fit a belt, make sure there is gas and try it. Nothing to lose.

no air con!!

and it doesn't like being run if dry.........try it, if it works the great, if not then you'll need to dig deeper!

Nothing it won't engage if there is no gas pressure to close inhibit switch.

great then i put a belt on .

just found out that there is nowhere i can by it today

so will not be able to get one before Monday

and i am just in the mood to get it tested today :clap2: ...
