I think I must have knocked something or pulled something out but can someone point me in the right direction please??

It on a 4.0 SE p38. Changed a couple of the message center bulbs as could only see have the screen. Put it all back together and the message is coming up. I must have pulled or knocked something as it definitley wasn't there before!

Any ideas?

there is a connection inder the fuel cap switch i believe and this can become dislodged/corroded. i have heard of this problem before and think mine has it.

Thanks for the quick response!!

I had to disconnect the fuel cap release switch to get the facia off so that could well be it, will pull it apart again tomoz and have a look.

Any ideas what colour wire it is??

nope, i am intending to do mine at some stage so i'll wait n see if yours goes out!!!!

Think somone was lying to you about the connection under the switch because I can see anything there! Got one connector that seems to have come from somewhere just under the steering colum but I can't see where on earth it should go!
Think I will have to take some more of the plastic off when I get a minute... Guinea pig failure iminent I do believe!
