Hi, I tried the vents today on my new (old) Landy and don't think they had been raised since new and were stuck shut. I sprayed wd on the hinges but still had to use a bit of force to open them, now they won't close properly because the bracket is slightly bent back. I need to take them off and bend them back, but the buggers won't come off!
I've unscrewed the little nuts on the end of the pins, and tried a little tap (with nut just on, so as not to damage thread), but don't know if this is right and maybe they only go one way???????

Often need a hammer a rod or small screwdriver to force the pin out

Once a bit is protruding, a good tug with pliers or similar

To edit your picture - click on 'user cp' in horizontal banner at top, and then 'edit profile picture' from left hand menu list
