Hi, I think you had to replace the compressor cos it failed being overworked by compensating a leak which causes the drop now ... if they are old replace both airbags ASAP or you'll kill this compressor too, eventually use soapy water on the valves and bags to identify exactly where the leak is but the bags are the usual suspects

2 years ago I replaced both airsprings and they are in great order. The compressor died due to water damage some how, and prior to stopping did operate when it needed to alter height etc wotking well. So new compresssor inserted and clipped in all hose connections fitted correctly, and pumps up and cuts in. Just when turned off she lets out the pressure....what I don't know about is the valves that must trap pressure. We have soapy water tested airsprings and all connections....no bubbling etc. So feel there is a valve issue. Anyone had this issue before and how to solve this...where are the valves located or is this a CPU not talking...? Thanks for your considerations,Nick.

The air supply valves are near the compressor(11 - 15), they can get stuck open when the ignition is turned off cos then the system opens them to release a bit of air but they must close in short time. Does it drop all the way down immediately when you leave the vehicle and you hear it hissing? if yes unplug the two air supply valve's electric connectors while the vehicle is on level and remove relay R5... you'll get the SLS warning but if the problem is with the valves or management the vehicle will stay on level many days, if it drops with these valves unplugged there is a leak somewhere
